Advocator

Advocator was born in 1963 as the son of Round Table (sire) and Delta Queen (dam).  He was the winner of 10 races totaling $338,658.  At the age of two, he already had three wins, one second and two third place finishes.  At the age of three, he collected one win, four times second (including the 1966 Kentucky Derby) and six times third (including the 1966 Belmont Stakes).  At age four, he had four wins and one third place while at age five he had two wins (including the Sunrise Handicap, 1 ½  miles, turf. 2:27 1/5), two second and four third place finishes. 

He was the sire of AGITATE who totaled seven wins ($312,925), JUST THE TIME four wins ($107,333), CARRY THE BANNER, COPETON, and CLAN ROYAL.

Friends of Danada was officially incorporated on June 25, 1986 as a nonprofit organization by the State of Illinois. The group was formed to assist and support the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County in managing and operating the former estate of Daniel and Ada Rice. The estate is preserved for the use and enjoyment of the citizens of DuPage County.
